Reading Reflection #8

Anyone can walk down a dock and take a picture of a boat, but only a few can make it look this good, and that is I like this picture because of the beautiful subject matter. This picture shows the wonder and amazing beauty of vintage cars and trucks. This picture inspires me to find beauty in the most old and run down of subjects.






Anybody can walk down to a dock and take a picture of a boat, but few can make it look this beautiful, and that is what i love about this picture. The composition of this photo is beautiful and inspiring. I have been inspired by this picture to not just take pictures of a car, but to actually compose the picture and make it pleasing to look at.

I like this picture because it expresses to me the emotion of loneliness that comes with traveling at times. This picture is a different take on transportation photography and i like how it portrays emotion more than any picture of a car ever will. I am inspired to take pictures that are a tad bit more out of the box than usual.

Reading Reflection #7

I like this picture because of the rustic element of it, i think i would like it better if it was in black and white, but never the less, it makes a great texture photograph. This picture is proof that you can literally take a picture of almost anything and you will have a great texture picture. Although there is some depth to this picture, it is still effective with that wall to wall texture.

I love this picture because it is jut a great picture of the ground that people would usually over look. I know a great place to take pictures like this, so i could pull this off. I like that is in black and white and has that great contrast that just makes it stand out.

Leather and any other fabric shows great texture, and i like the creases that show the age of this leather. After seeing this picture i know that i can take pictures of cool patterns in clothing, upholstery, and what ever else interests me. In my own photography i should reflect my mood, i think this picture makes me feel a little older than i am and i think that every picture should do that.

Reading Reflection #6

This picture is a great stop action and i love how the person is a silhouette on the beautiful back ground. I think i could capture a photo with a great back ground like this. This picture is proof that a good back ground makes all the difference.

This is another amazing example of a stop action, but this time it caught the high action of the splashing water. I love pictures with frozen water in them, and this one is no exception. Freezing water mid movement makes a great picture and i should aspire to take more pictures like this.

Here we have an example of what photographers call Panning. Panning creates an great blurred background while your subject is crisp and clear. I like this effect and it is easy to do, so making great pictures like this should be a goal of mine.

Reason why you selected it:  I love this picture because it is very rural and I love the country and dirt roads and it really shows that well.

How it can this photo potentially inspire one of your photographs?: This picture inspires me to photograph what I love, like the country.

What has changed or been strengthened in your idea of what makes a good landscape photograph?  The lighting in the photo is amazing and I also like the rolling hills in the fog in the background so, depth and lighting are two key elements in a landscape photograph

Reason why you selected it:  I love the subject matter in the picture and the angle is wonderful

How it can this photo potentially inspire one of your photographs?: Getting that crisp picture of the pig with the blur in the background is very inspiring.

What has changed or been strengthened in your idea of what makes a good animal photograph?  

Having a great angle is important and it makes the picture so much better

Reason why you selected it:  The dog in this photo is just hysterical and I fell in love with his charm

How it can this photo potentially inspire one of your photographs?: This picture inspires me to take pictures of things that i love and make me happy

What has changed or been strengthened in your idea of what makes a good animal photograph?  Having a great subject is important and can be as easy as looking at your own pup.

Reason why you selected it:  i like this picture because you cannot capture this beautiful scene every day

How it can this photo potentially inspire one of your photographs?: I can be inspired to not just capture my pets but also capture nature
